Cyclists support MS ride

A team of cyclists from LandSouth Construction, a Jacksonville-based general contractor, recentlyMS Team LandSouth.small participated in the Bike MS PGA TOUR “Cycle to the Shore” ride. Team LandSouth completed the challenging 150-mile ride along with more than 2,800 other cyclists, traveling from St. Augustine to Daytona Beach and back.

In the months leading up to the ride, Team LandSouth raised money and awareness to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The team raised more than $9,600, exceeding its goal of $8,000 with seven riders who raised more than $1,000 each for the organization.         

 “It has been rewarding and enlightening for our team members to be involved in the “Cycle to the Shore” ride to raise money for MS,” said James Pyle, president and CEO of LandSouth Construction. “We are proud of Team LandSouth for the incredible efforts they put both into fundraising for the National MS Society and in completing the event itself. The team has made a difference in our community and has strengthened their relationships along the way to make LandSouth Construction a better company.
