Workshop to show how to benefit from sustainability movement

What does sustainability mean for your business? In a highly competitive business environment even a slight edge can mean the difference between enormous success and a disappointing failure. The next Knowledge Is Power Workshop, sponsored by Advantage: The Resource for Small Business on Oct. 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., will focus on exploring how to benefit from the sustainability movement.

During this breakfast meeting, participants will learn how to:

• Position their company as the socially responsible alternative;-

• Develop strategies to attract the eco-aware consumer;

• Follow the lead of industry green leaders

• Get noticed by the media and the local community for their green efforts.

Keynote speakers at the Oct. 13 event will be Julie Watkins, Action News CBS 47 Fox30 and Helen Rake of Collins Capital Management. Tickets are available online at or by phone at 904-704-5058.
