‘Buying real estate’ topic of Sept. JaxREIA meeting

Jacksonville Real Estate Investors’ Association (JaxREIA) will host Don DeRosa at the next JaxREIA meeting and seminar in September. DeRosa is a real estate investor, author, teacher, coach, and national speaker, as well as past president of the Georgia Real Estate Investors Association. 

He will be featured during JaxREIA’s regular monthly meeting on Thursday, September 2 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., and on Saturday, September 5 for an intensive seminar from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The meeting and seminar will both be at JaxREIA offices, 103 Century 21 Drive, Ste 202 in Jacksonville, Fla.

The September 2 workshop is free of charge for both members and nonmembers. The September 5 workshop is $29 per person for members and $49 per person for nonmembers. The seminar will include lunch and educational materials.

On Thursday and Saturday, DeRosa will discuss what to look for in private lenders and how private money may be important to real estate investors for financial flexibility and speed to secure real estate transactions that other investors may have to pass on.

During the 2010 – 2011football season, free Jacksonville Jaguar football game tickets will be used as a promotion for JaxREIA members and nonmembers. The free tickets will be offered as a drawing for new member sign-ups.
