Jacksonville law firm Smith Hulsey & Busey ( has hired two second-year University of Florida law students, Ross Harrison Chafin and Michael Johnson, for its 2010 summer associate program. Smith Hulsey & Busey’s summer associate program provides experience to participating students, who do legal research and attend business meetings and court proceedings. These opportunities give students insight to the firm’s practice and culture, and offer the firm a gauge of candidates’ abilities.
