Paul Davis Restoration opens national training center

Paul Davis Restoration (, a national franchise company and provider of fire, water and mold damage restoration services for residential and commercial properties, will open its new 17,000 square foot national training center located at 7251 Salisbury Road in Jacksonville on June 24, 2010.

The company has completed the build out of the new facility and has relocated from its former training location, also in Jacksonville. The new training center will formally open during the company’s national convention to be held locally. Paul Davis Restoration Inc. is owned by The Franchise Company (TFC), a First Service Corporation (FSV) company.

According to Tim Robinson, Paul Davis Restoration’s COO, the decision to expand the training center and its capabilities supports the company’s growth as a leader in the property damage restoration industry even during difficult economic times.

The center will feature most categories of approved certification courses from The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) including emergency fire and water damage mitigation, structural clean up, fire and smoke restoration, water damage restoration, odor control and contents cleaning and restoration, to name a few. Additionally, a variety of hands-on modules—designed to demonstrate advanced mitigation, restoration and contents cleaning methods using the latest equipment and advanced technology— were installed to replicate the real life situations participants will face in the field for a more effective training experience.
