Fisher Koppenhafer to design Green Cove op center

Fisher Koppenhafer Architecture and Interior Design has been selected to design the new police station andGreen Cove Springs small Emergency Operations Center for the City of Green Cove Springs.  The firm is serving as the architect, interior designer, and land planner for the new public safety facility.

The modern law enforcement facility will be designed to meet or exceed 165 mph (Category 5) hurricane wind requirements.  The facility will include administration offices, work spaces, evidence storage, and a community room.  All rooms will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a communication system with connectivity to the City of Green Cove Springs and Clay County’s fiber optic system.

Completion of the new police station and emergency operations center is expected in 2011.
