JaxREIA names officers, board, annual award winners

Jacksonville Real Estate Investors’ Association (JaxREIA), northeast Florida’s oldest and largest non-profit realjax reia estate investment association, has named the organization’s 2010 officers, board members, and annual award winners. The association has also launched a new Web site,

According to Kristina Obenza, JaxREIA’s Executive Director, the following have been elected as officers.

• President, David Doyle;

• Vice President, Curtis Newberg;

• Secretary, Stuart Kube; and

• Treasurer, Christian Rambler.

New board members include Bill Martin, David Addink, Joe Wheeler, Art Speight, and Todd Trulock.

The President’s Award, which recognizes meritorious and longstanding service, was presented Don Johnson who is a current member and former vice president of JaxREIA. Johnson has been a member of the organization since 1999 and volunteers as an instructor for the Quick Start classes.

Additionally, long-time members Todd and Jan Rannow received the association’s Inspiration Award. The Rannows were recognized for significant member contributions through demonstrated enthusiasm, personal achievement and loyal support.

The Volunteer Award was presented to Ed Hubay, who has served on the nominations committee and volunteers as a member at every meeting.
