Law firm donates $10K to Jacksonville Youth Works in client’s honor

Wilner Hartley & Metcalf (, the law firm that represented the family of Marine Lance Cpl. Timotheus Stamper, who was murdered in 2002, has made a $10,000 donation in Stamper’s name to Jacksonville Youth Works.

The firm obtained a $1.83 million verdict against a local gas station for failing to provide proper security at the scene of Stamper’s murder. The jury requested that the award somehow honor the slain victim’s memory. The law firm decided to make a donation in Stamper’s name to the Jacksonville Youth Works, the charity of choice named by his parents.
