All-inclusive Southside entertainment venue to open

Jacksonville residents will soon have the city’s first all-inclusive entertainment venuelatitude30small in which to spend their leisure hours, according to Brent Brown and Damon Brush, founders of Latitude 30, LLC.

The business partners have announced that they are creating a luxury entertainment destination in the city’s Southside business corridor, renovating the former Toys R’ Us supercenter across from The Avenues mall on Philips Highway. The venue, named Latitude 30, will contain a variety of dining and recreational activities with state-of-the-art equipment and retro-modern style.

The complex will include cutting-edge games, boutique bowling lanes, a small cinema with food service, a main bar with a dance floor, a sports-theater, and a variety of casual dining areas, as well as a Las Vegas-style showroom.

The partners believe that Latitude 30’s “one-stop destination” concept is a powerful advantage, because it provides a way to satisfy all of the individual interests of a family or group of friends who want to spend time together.

“Currently, a night out or weekend get-together can involve driving from one place to another, making multiple stops, or trying to convince everyone to settle on the same choice,” Brush said. “Latitude 30 will provide the convenience of multiple leisure options in one destination — a huge, upscale venue that offers excellent entertainment value.”

“Our analysis shows that even in a soft market, people will take advantage of this type of high-quality venue,” Brown said. “And, when the economic market improves, we’ll already have our customer base firmly established.”
