Healthcare reform topic of Economic Roundtable forum

The Economic Roundtable of Jacksonville will host an “Understanding Healthcare Reform” lunch forum on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. The program will feature commentary from an expert panel, which includes Yank Cable, MD, Professor, University of Florida and Director, Global Health and Medical Diplomacy Center; Hugh Greene, President and CEO, Baptist Health; Michael Hightower, VP, Government and Legislative Relations, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Florida; and Joseph J. Tepas III, MD, FACS, FAAP, Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics, University of Florida College of Medicine.

The forum begins at 11 a.m. at the Davis College of Business Conference Center at Jacksonville University, 2800 University Blvd. N. Cost is $30 for members, $40 for non-members.
