Corporate dodge ball tourney to benefit youth programs

Companies are invited to dodge, duck, dip, and dive at the first annual Jacksonville’s Corporate Dodge ball dodgeballTournament benefiting youth programs of the North Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America.
The double elimination tournament will be Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Police Athletic League at Ed Austin Regional Park, 3450 Monument Drive, Jacksonville, FL  32225.

Only 64 teams will be accepted for the tournament. Tournament teams consist of six players and up to four substitutes. Team t-shirts/uniforms are encouraged. The tournament will be in double elimination format. The tournament will follow NADA rules.

The tournament is open to all businesses, civic groups, service clubs, college clubs and/or groups of individuals. The winning team will receive a $1,000 cash prize and the coveted trophy “The Golden Baller”.

The entry fee is $300 per team—which can be paid by the sponsoring company or by individual team members. The winning team will win a cash prize of $1,000.
