Businesses to help sick kids’ Dreams Come True

Jacksonville small businesses can help stimulate the local economy while making dreams comepartners-for-dreams-logosmall1 true for children who are battling life-threatening illnesses by participating in the Partners for Dreams Week, an event sponsored by Dreams Come True, running from Nov. 6 through Nov. 15.

First coast retailers, service centers, specialty shops, and restaurants that participate provide a 20% discount on regularly priced merchandize during Partners Weeks to the bearer of a card, which costs shoppers$50. For more information on participating or to purchase a card, go to

Proceeds from the cards benefits Dreams Come True, a 25-year-old, locally based nonprofit organization dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of children who are battling life-threatening illnesses. Dreams Come True accepts donations but does not solicit funds through telemarketing.
