Ana Recio Harvey, head of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Women’s Businessjaxwomenscenter Ownership, will participate in the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center’s fifth-year Anniversary Event (“Give Me 5” event) on Wednesday, August 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Jacksonville Public Library. As associate administrator of the Office of Women’s Business Ownership, she manages the agency’s efforts to promote the growth of women-owned businesses through programs that address business training and technical assistance (such as the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center and all of the Women’s Business Centers nation-wide), and provides access to credit and capital, federal contracts and international trade opportunities.

“I am honored to be part of the celebration for the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center’s fifth-year Anniversary,” says Ms. Harvey.  “The Center is one of SBA’s strongest resource partners and is an incredible resource for women business owners; more than 3,000 clients have been served through the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center in its five years of existence.  We look forward to celebrating the next years of success with the center.”
