SBDC expands counseling locations

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UNF has expanded the number of locations in Duval County where counselors—Certified Business Analysts—are available to talk with small business owners.

Meetings with SBDC counselors are cost-free. Counselors provide information and guidance on general business and industry, business planning and feasibility, sources of capital and loan packaging, understanding financial statements, cash-flow management, market research, and more. 

Locations in Duval County are:

• First Coast African American Chamber of Commerce, 1725 Oakhurst Ave., Jacksonville, FL

• Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce, 3 Independent Dr., Jacksonville, FL

• Beaver Street Enterprise Center, 1225 W. Beaver St., Jacksonville, FL

• Cecil Commerce Center, Bldg 800, 6112 New World Ave., Jacksonville, FL, and

• Springfield Preservation and Revitalization Council (SPAR), 1321 N. Main St., Jacksonville, FL

The new locations are in addition to the regional office located at the University of North Florida campus.  Location times and dates are subject to a rotating schedule.
