Women’s Council hosts two June events

The Professional Women’s Council (PWC) of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce has two upcoming pwclogosmallnetworking opportunities for women in business.

On June 24, PWC will have its monthly luncheon at Maggiano’s Little Italy in St. John’s Town Center. Mike Hightower, chairperson of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce and vice president of governmental and legislative relations for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, will be the keynote speaker. His presentation concerns how women have re-shaped the business sector of northeast Florida and the importance of branding for success in the workplace.

On June 25, PWC is hosting an “EXCEL-erated Event,” a mini-workshop on “envisioning the success of your business.” This free workshop, which will run from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., is open to all PWC members and guests. It will take place at 228 Third Avenue North in Jacksonville Beach.
