Veterans Entrepreneurial Training to begin June 29

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UNF, in partnership with WorkSource, will present V.E.T. — unfsbdc-logo1Veterans Entrepreneurial Training beginning June 29.  V.E.T. is a business development program designed to help Veterans aspiring to start a business hone the skills needed to create, manage, and grow a successful business. 

Throughout the five-week course, V.E.T. participants will work on moving their own business ideas to the startup stage.  The SBDC at UNF is able to offer this opportunity at a significantly discounted registration fee to Veterans through the generous support of WorkSource.

V.E.T. will be offered at two locations: University of North Florida (UNF) University Center, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Mondays, beginning June 29 through July 27; or the WorkSource office at Fleming Island, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, beginning June 30 through July 28.

The price for service-disabled veterans is $25 and for all other veterans, $50.  All veterans must provide a copy of their DD214 and Service Related Disability Letter (if applicable) prior to the start of the first session. To register call the SBDC at 904-620-2476.
