Arlington Heights Elementary School honored volunteers from the Arlington Council at its Volunteer pancakebkftsmallAppreciation Breakfast May 15.

The Arlington Council supports the school by holding a “First Day” event every year through book drives, a student art show, a 50/50 raffle at every council meeting, tutoring students, and helping address other needs of the school. CPA Keith Johnson, Elaine Anwander of Qualitative Research Services, Education Committee Chairwoman Rebekah Susa, and Ken Susa of Business Outfitters attended the breakfast.

After the breakfast, students sang, held a recorder performance, and expressed their thanks to the volunteers who attended.
