Have you ever wondered how the editors and publisher of a magazine create its magazine cover? Brian Barquilla, publisher of Jacksonville Small Business Advantage, decided to show his readers a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process.
“We thought our followers might be interested in actually seeing a cover ‘shoot’,” he said. “So when we photographed Brock Fazzini, CEO of Fazzini’s Coffee & Tea, for the cover of our March issue, we decided to document it in video.” Barquilla added, “Fazzini’s is the company that will be profiled in our annual ‘green’ issue.”
Advantage followers who would like to see the video are invited to see it here.
“I’m also excited to tell our readers that we have a new feature on our Web site,” said Barquilla. “We are videotaping our Knowledge Is Power workshops, which we offer every month. It’s always better to attend in person, since you get to meet the expert and ask questions, but if you can’t do that, the workshops are available at http://advantagebizmag.com/events/videos.”
