Small business owners in the Jacksonville area have the opportunity to provide input to President Obama about 
healthcare issues.
ABC News is preparing a Primetime special on Wednesday, June 24 at 10 p.m. EDT. News correspondents Charles Gibson and Diane Sawyer will talk with the President about the future of the nation’s healthcare system. During the discussion from the East Room of the White House, President Obama will answer questions from an audience made up of Americans selected by ABC News who have divergent opinions in this historic debate.
To participate in the conversation, the U. S. Small Business Administration is encouraging small business owners in Jacksonville and across the nation to send their questions and concerns to ABC News by e-mail to Jaime.J.Hennessey@abc.com.
ABC’s Good Morning America (GMA) will also feature segments of the exclusive conversation with the President on the same day, and the healthcare conversation will continue on Nightline at 11:35pm ET. ABC news radio will also air portions of “Questions for the President: Prescription for America” and will also produce a special edition of its weekly news magazine PERSPECTIVE, which will include portions of the special. PERSPECTIVE will be available to ABC news radio affiliates for use over the weekend of June 27-28.

The health Care is a top priority issue to be solved soon. After President Truman proposal in 1945, President Clinton after 48 years, in q993 proposed a reform. Now 16 years after, 3 times less of distance in between, president Obama proposes a seriuos debate to get it solved.
Dramatically high cost estimates it will cost $1 trillion and yet leave millions of Americans without health insurance.
If we want a full and immediate reform there should be forms of government assistance to help make coverage more affordable and available to all Americans to have health care.
We’re going to need the White House to step it up a little bit and get more engaged. There will be several hundred billion dollars more than expected. The issue is how to best reduce the cost and increase the reach of the current health care system, which officials say is increasingly draining personal, corporate and government budgets while leaving 46 million Americans without health insurance. We need to have plan that would include taxing some employer-provided health care benefits for workers.
I agree when president Obama says that Health care reform should mean all Americans can get coverage while allowing doctors to heal patients instead of being bureaucrats. All, doctors, patients, insurance companies, drug companies and the government to contribute to a workable system that would provide coverage for those 46 million uninsured Americans while reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
